Service Levels and Priorities

To ensure proper expectations are set when submitting a case to Zoom’s technical support team, we prioritize issues based on the following criteria:

Priority 1 - Urgent
The service is “down,” operation of the service is severely degraded, or there is a critical impact to the service due to a fault with the network or other software issue. No workarounds. Examples include failures of Zoom’s transmission services or software functions. Zoom will provide necessary resources around the clock to resolve this situation.

Priority 2 - High
Significant aspects of the service are negatively affected by inadequate performance of the network or other software issues. Partial or no workarounds. Zoom will provide resources during Zoom’s normal business hours to resolve the situation and additional resources outside of Zoom’s normal business hours as reasonably necessary.

Priority 3 - Normal
General issues related to a feature or a set of features. Operational performance of the service is not impaired. Zoom will provide reasonable resources during Zoom’s normal business hours to assist in resolving the problem or providing a workaround.

Priority 4 – Low
Informational or Feature Change Request: Customer requires information or assistance with service’s capabilities, installation or configuration and there is little to no effect on its business operations. Included are requests for information, assistance, features, alpha/beta and others. Such requests will be handled within Zoom's normal business hours.

Target response times
Target response time for a support ticket will be the time (a) commencing when Zoom receives a proper support ticket from customer and (b) ending when customer receives notification that the support ticket has been logged.

Owners and Administrators of Pro, Business, Education, Enterprise, and API plans, here are initial target response times for each priority level:

从今年9月1日起，《中华人民共和国外国人入境出境管理条例》（以下简称《条例》）将正式施行，1986年国务院批准施行的《外国人入境出境管理法实施细则》将同时废止。

就 “中国普通签证”而言，《条例》在保留现行8个类别的基础上，增设M字、Q字、R字、S字4个类别。同时，根据外国人入境停留时间长短，对J字、Q字、S 字和X字做了进一步细分，并分别以阿拉伯数字1和2进行标识。中国普通签证类别，由原来的8类9种调整至12类16种。

总领事馆副总领事王永，总领事馆签证组组长张明领事，侨务组领事乔勇军等出席了当日的活动，并由张明组长重点介绍了针对海外华人（已加入所在国国籍的华人，比如华裔美国公民）的Q签证。

王永副总领事表示，随着改革开放的不断扩大与中国经济社会快速发展，中外人员出入境数量逐年增加，并带来了众多新情况、新问题，9月1日起施行的新《条例》，就是因应这些新情况，新问题，完善中国出入境管理，改进服务。其中，在改进服务方面，新《条例》考虑国家引才及海外侨务工作需要，增设人才类（R）和家庭团聚类（Q）签证，特别照顾海外华人的相关需求。

据签证组张明领事介绍，多年来中国政府为外国来华探亲人员签发L字签证，未将其与来华旅游及处理其他私人事务人员相区分，在一定程度上影响了中国驻外使领馆更具针对性地为前往中国探亲的海外华人群体提供入境及停留、居留便利。新《条例》将“探亲”这一事由从L字签证中剥离，专门增设Q类探亲签证，并根据申请入境停留时限及人群特质，分为Q1和Q2两个子类。

Q1 探亲签证

Q1探亲签证签发对象有两类：一是中国公民的家庭成员及在华具有永久居留资格的外国人的家庭成员；二是因寄养等原因需要在中国境内居留的人员。Q1签证的设立，就是考虑了广大海外华人将子女送回中国寄养的特殊需求。

Q1探亲签证持有者，在入境后30日内，须到当地公安机关出入境管理机构办理“居留证”。“居留证”在中国居留的最长时间为5年。 Q1签证持有者，可凭有效护照、居留证原件多次出境、入境，出入境次数不限制。

Q2探亲签证

Q2探亲签证，是发给申请入境短期探望居住在中国境内的中国公民、具有永久居留资格的外国人的亲属。Q2签证持有者入境后在华停留的最长期限为180天。

Q2 签证的有效期一般为一年或两年，最长可达5年。Q2签证持有者，在签证有效期内可多次出入境中国，出境、入境次数无限制，每次入境之后，可获得Q2签证上所核准的停留天数（一般为90天，120天，或最长180天）。海外华人在申请Q2签证时，可要求一年或两年有效，一般而言，拥有良好签证记录的海外华人均可获批两年有效期。5年有效的Q2签证，数量很少，需要中国驻外使领馆特批。

Q1 与Q2 的区别？

新《条例》的一大特点，就是界定了“居留”与“停留”的区别，180天以上者为“居留”，180天以内则为“停留”。体现在Q签证方面，Q1为“居留”，即在华生活的时间超过180天，Q2则为180天以内。

在操作方面，Q1持有者在入境中国后30天以内，须在当地公安机关出入境管理机构办理“居留证”，出境、入境需携带有效护照、居留证原件。Q2则无需申请居留证，出境、入境携带有效护照、Q2签证。

在申请材料方面，申请Q1探亲签证必须提供探亲邀请人所提供的邀请函，探亲邀请人必须与被邀请者存在亲属关系，并附带亲属关系证明。申请Q2，也需要探亲邀请人所提供的邀请函，但不需要提供亲属关系证明。也就是说，Q2的探亲邀请人，可为亲属也可为朋友。

申请Q1签证需准备哪些材料？

如系家庭团聚事由，须提供：

（一）居住在中国境内的中国公民或具有中国永久居留资格的外国人出具的邀请函件，该邀请函须包含以下内容：

1.被邀请人个人信息：姓名、性别、出生日期等；

2.被邀请人访问信息：来华事由、拟抵达日期、拟居留地点、拟居留期限、与邀请人关系、费用来源等；

3.邀请人信息：邀请人姓名、联系电话、地址、邀请人签字等。

（二）邀请人的中国身份证复印件或外国人护照及永久居留证复印件；

（三）申请人与邀请人之间的家庭成员关系（配偶、父母、子女、子女的配偶、兄弟姐妹、祖父母、外祖父母、孙子女、外孙子女以及配偶的父母）证明（结婚证、出生证、公安派出所出具的亲属关系证明或亲属关系公证书等）原件和复印件。

如系寄养事由，须提供：

（一）中国驻外使领馆出具的寄养委托公证或经过所在国或中国公证认证的寄养委托书；

（二）委托人的护照原件、复印件及其与被寄养儿童的亲属关系证明（结婚证、出生证、公安派出所出具的亲属关系证明或亲属关系公证书等）；

（三）接受寄养的受托人出具的同意接受寄养函件及身份证复印件；

（四）寄养儿童的父母双方或者一方为中国公民的，还应提供儿童出生时中国籍父母在境外定居证明的复印件。

请注意：持证人入境中国后须在30日内向拟居留地县级以上地方人民政府公安机关出入境管理机构申请办理居留证件。

申请Q2签证需准备哪些材料？

（一）居住在中国境内的中国公民或具有中国永久居留资格的外国公民出具的邀请函件。该邀请函须包含以下内容：

Registry Disclaimer: The further steps will involve registry manipulation. Making mistakes while manipulating registry could affect your system adversely. So be careful while editing registry entries and create a System Restore point first.

1. Press + R and put regedit in Run dialog box to open Registry Editor (if you’re not familiar with Registry Editor, then click here). Click OK.

2. Navigate to following registry key:

You can now reboot your machine and try enabling Developer mode, it should get activated this time.

DNSCrypt On Windows

This is an update to my original article, Getting Started With DNSCrypt On Windows. With the release of version 1.4.0, it’s much simpler to install the dnscrypt-proxy service.

Note: Also see this post about using ephemeral keys.

To start, download the latest version of DNSCrypt from here. At the time of writing, that would be “dnscrypt-proxy-win64-full-1.9.1.zip”. From that archive, extract the content of the bin folder; there should be six files. You can place them anywhere on your computer, but I am going to place them in “C:\Program Files\DNSCrypt\”.

Next, open an elevated command prompt. On Windows 8.1, you can press Win-X and choose “Windows Command Prompt (Admin)”. On Windows 7, search the Start menu for “cmd”, right-click on cmd.exe, and select “Run as administrator”. From there, you should navigate to where you placed the DNSCrypt files. We do this using the “cd” command followed by the path, so in this example, you would run:

cd "C:\Program Files\DNSCrypt"

From there, we prepare to install the proxy service. First, you will need to select a DNS provider. You may have noticed a file called dnscrypt-resolvers.csv that is included in the download. This contains a listing of many DNS providers that support DNSCrypt. For each provider, it has a name, description, location, and whether they support things like DNSSEC and Namecoin. It also has the necessary IP addresses and public keys. For now, pick one that you like and copy the value in the first column. We are going to use CloudNS, so the name I need is “cloudns-can”. Now that we have a DNS provider, we will test to make sure the proxy can connect using this command:

dnscrypt-proxy.exe -R "cloudns-can" --test=0

If all goes well, you will get an output similar to this:

If not, pick another name and try again. If it does work, then you can proceed to install. The command is the same except that instead of --test=0, we use --install. As of release 1.9.1, a caching plugin is also included, so we can enable that as well by adding --plugin=libdcplugin_example_cache.dll to our command.

dnscrypt-proxy.exe -R cloudns-can --plugin=libdcplugin_example_cache.dll --install

You should see something like this output to the terminal:

[INFO] The dnscrypt-proxy service has been installed and started
[INFO] The registry key used for this service is SYSTEM\Current
 ControlSet\Services\dnscrypt-proxy\Parameters
[INFO] Now, change your resolver settings to 127.0.0.1:53

As indicated, you just need to change your DNS settings to 127.0.0.1 and you will be all set (for instructions on that, you can look at the original article). For reference, here is what my terminal screen looked like after I was done:
